This call to action follows reports that Isr*eli forces have detained Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital—the last operational hospital in northern G@za—at a facility where detainees have allegedly faced torture and severe mistreatment.
Albanese’s appeal underscores the international community’s growing concern over the humanitarian crisis in G@za and the targeting of medical facilities and personnel.Albanese, appointed as Special Rapporteur in March 2022, is an independent expert tasked with assessing and reporting on human rights in the Occupied P@lestinian Territory.
