The digital token was introduced hours before his inauguration as the 47th US President.Critics accuse Trump of using his presidency to profit from the cryptocurrency.
They warn that the coin’s value may be artificially inflated, putting investors at risk.
Cryptocurrency enthusiasts are optimistic that Trump’s administration will support the industry, making the US a hub for innovation. Trump’s sons, Eric and Donald Jr., also plan to launch their own cryptocurrency company.
