Over 1.4 million pilgrims visited the Grand Mosque in Makkah during the first quarter of the Islamic calendar. According to Saudi authorities, the majority of these pilgrims, totaling 449,696, came from Indonesia.
Pakistan ranked second, with 287,000 pilgrims visiting the Prophet’s Mosque and the Prophet’s Tomb, followed by India, Iraq, and Bangladesh, with 179,000, 122,000, and 76,940 pilgrims, respectively.
