Today, Pakistan is celebrating the 148th birthday of its founding father, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, with great enthusiasm and zeal.
The day began with a 21-gun salute in the federal and provincial capitals, followed by special ceremonies and events across the country.
A guard change ceremony was held at Jinnah’s mausoleum in Karachi, where a contingent of the Pakistan Military Academy took over guard duties.
The country’s top military and civilian leaders, including the Governor of Sindh and the Chief Minister, visited the mausoleum to pay tribute to Jinnah’s services and legacy.
