A recent fatwa issued by Pakistani scholars has deemed activities such as aerial firing, kite-flying, and one-wheeling as un-Islamic. The scholars emphasized that any act that puts human life at risk is prohibited in Islam, which prioritizes the protection of human life.
The fatwa specifically mentioned that aerial firing, kite-flying, and one-wheeling are not only life-threatening but also tantamount to suicide. DIG Operations Faisal Kamran supported the scholars’ stance, revealing that these activities have resulted in numerous deaths.
In the past 20 days alone, 151 individuals involved in one-wheeling have been arrested.According to DIG Operations Faisal Kamran, over 150 cases have been registered against kite-flyers, while 118 perpetrators of aerial firing have been imprisoned.
