By Abu Dhabi has launched an interest-free marriage loan program to support young Emirati couples. The initiative, aimed at easing financial challenges related to wedding expenses, offers interest-free loans of up to AED 150,000. This loan can significantly ease the burden on young couples, providing them with a more stable foundation as they begin their marital journey.
To be eligible for the loan, both spouses must be UAE nationals. Additionally, the husband must be at least 21 years old, and the wife at least 18 years old. The husband should also possess an Abu Dhabi family book and earn a monthly income below AED 60,000. The application process is conducted online via the Medeem Digital Platform, which is designed to simplify access to various government services.
This marriage loan program is part of the Emirati Family Growth Programme, a broader initiative by the government to promote family stability and encourage sustainable development within Abu Dhabi. It reflects the government’s commitment to supporting young couples and fostering strong family units in the emirate.
