Speaking to the media, Tayseer recounted the harsh conditions, inhumane treatment, and psychological torment inflicted upon P@lestinian prisoners. He described the relentless physical abuse, prolonged solitary confinement, and deprivation of basic necessities, all aimed at breaking the spirit of detainees. According to Tayseer, prisoners were often subjected to extreme interrogation methods, denied medical care, and kept in overcrowded cells under unbearable conditions. He recalled being deprived of sleep for days and witnessing fellow inmates being beaten and humiliated.
“They wanted to strip us of our dignity, but we remained steadfast,” he said. The young detainee also highlighted the emotional toll of being separated from his family, with limited or no contact allowed for months at a time. Tayseer’s testimony adds to the growing evidence of the mistreatment of P@lestinian prisoners in Israeli detention centers. Human rights organizations have repeatedly condemned these violations, calling for international intervention.
