Pakistani citizens traveling to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are now required to undergo police verification, according to Director General of the Bureau of Immigration Muhammad Tayyab.
This new directive applies to all travel cases, ensuring that individuals receive proper clearance before departing for the UAE.
The move comes amid previous restrictions imposed by the UAE on Pakistani nationals, which were discussed by Senator Shahadat Awan.
Secretary of Overseas Pakistanis Arshad Mahmood clarified that while unskilled workers face delays, skilled laborers continue to receive UAE visas, with efforts underway to increase the number of Pakistanis working in the UAE.
