By The BBC’s Tomorrow’s World programme predicted in 1995 that by 2025, humans would have colonized the moon and robots would be serving humans. While some of these predictions have come true, others have not.
For example, the programme predicted that by 2004, all UK hospitals would have robotic surgeons, which has not happened.
However, robotic surgery has become more common and is now used in many hospitals. The programme also predicted that by 2025, humans would be able to control devices with their minds, which is now possible with brain-computer interfaces.
